Designed to support the practice of Bikram-style hot yoga, this innovative studio was built in a new construction, inner-city strip-shopping plaza overlooking a river valley in an affluent neighborhood.  The plan was oriented in a true east-west layout with 2 temperature-controlled studios, and an integrated sound-proof meditation room with aromatherapy.

 Practiced in rooms heated to 105 °F /41 °C and a humidity of 40% intending to replicate the climate of India, the interior was finished to be hardy and easy-to-clean,  using sealed concrete floors, polyester-infused paint for durability and non-porous, wipeable furniture to accommodate sweaty participants.
