Developed for an exclusive community along the intercoastal waterway of South Texas, the design of this weekend home was inspired by the traditional aesthetic of a handmade ocean-front property typically found along the eastern seaboard. 

Originally planned as a stucco-clad, pseudo-Mediterranean box, we were brought onto the project just prior to construction for the interiors, but then asked to re-imagine the potential for this landmark site and house. Located on the Gulf of Mexico, numerous unique building requirements informed the design of the project to comply with hurricane construction codes.  Subsequently, the layout was modified, exterior transformed and all interior design details were newly developed.  Every element of the project was thoughtfully considered, resulting in a one-of-a-kind project.
